Summary
The story began with a group of talented misfits from the

mental powers, manages to usurp the Tanu throne. Aiken faces
opposition from human-hating Tanu, from free humans who
mistrust his fantastic mind-powers, from the madwoman Felice,
who has vowed to destroy him, and from the revitalized
