Not long ago, Ash learned he has a monster living inside him…

 

Now he’s counting down the days and preparing for the inevitable encounter when the elemental is set free. Still, Ash has a District to protect and tasks given to him by the Nightmare Queen.

 

One such task leads to the discovery of a strange device and a tattooed goblin who knows its secrets. As Ash and his friends work to unravel the mystery, some of those close to him experience reunions with old enemies. While sins and memories of Vas haunt District 114, the Coalition emerges from the shadows and sets its sights on Ash.
